Amy is the most popular female character in the
Sonic the Hedgehog series, she's also the most reocurring female character, and first female character introduced to the series.
She is the only hedgehog in the series to not be given an official "super state", while she does use the Chaos Emeralds in
Sonic the Fighters, none of the characters undergo any physical changes while "super".
According to
Sonic CD, Amy is 8 years old. Which means that the time between
Sonic CD and
Sonic Adventure was about four years.
In
Sonic R, Amy drives a blue convertible car, that seems to be sentient. Her car has two eyes and a mouth, which is shown in offical artwork.
Amy has only two theme songs, which are called "My Sweet Passion" and "Follow Me". The first of which is used in multiple games, but the latter only appears in
Sonic Heroes.
Amy has undergone the most design changes, having a completely different look ever since
Sonic Adventure.
